ARM Launches New Office in Bengaluru
The Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, inaugurated ARM's new office in Bengaluru on Tuesday, announcing that the company will manufacture two-nanometer chips at this facility.
He highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India has made significant strides in the semiconductor sector since 2014, thanks to a stable and visionary policy framework. He stated, 'Our Prime Minister has infused us with a new energy and perspective to work towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.'
While congratulating ARM, the minister noted that the company will focus on designing two-nanometer chips at its new Bengaluru unit. ARM is a British semiconductor firm.
